- Up to 6 photos required.
- Close up of head and top of shoulders.
- Uniforms CANNOT be worn.
Guidelines Passport (New)
- White or off white background.
- Head size 80%. (40.8mm or 1.6in)
- No Boarder.
- Full front view of face and top of shoulders.
- Showing full face in middle of photo.
- Photo is not to be stapled or signed.
- Children’s eyes need to be open.
A digital copy of the photo is required as they have to register the child online, file size should be 10kb – 300kb, pixels should be minimum of 350px x 350px and maximum of 1000px x 1000px and match the guidelines above.**
Visa Photo Requirement of India
Dimensions: 50mm x 50mm
Background Requirements: plain light background
- Plain light background.
Head size between 1in – 1 3/8in (25mm – 35mm).
Head coverings for religious reasons only.
Babies under 1 do NOT need their eyes open. - From the 15th August 2015 the Visa Application has changed, you will now need to upload an image to a website so you will need a digital copy of the photo your photograph.
- The digital photograph to be uploaded along with the Visa application should meet the following requirements:
Format – JPEG - Size Minimum 10 KB – Maximum 300 KB
- The height and width of the Photo must be equal.
- The minimum dimensions are 350 pixels x 350 pixels Maximum 1000 pixels x 1000 pixels
- Photo should present Full face, front view, eyes open.
- Centre head within frame and present full head from top of hair to bottom of chin.
- Background should be plain light coloured or white background.
- No shadows on the face or on the background.
- Without borders.
OCI Card Photo Requirements
Dimensions: 50mm x 50mm
- Head size 70-80%.
- Full Face, Front View, Eyes open.
- Neutral expression, neither frowning nor smiling with mouth closed.
- Head coverings for religious reasons only, but full facial features are not to be obscured.
