- Photo must be taken from front.
- Neutral expression.
- Applicant should look directly at camera.
- Eyes must be open and visible.
- Head coverings for religious reasons only, full face must be displayed.
- No reflections, shadows or shades on Picture.
- Glasses can be worn but with no reflection.
- Sunglasses or thick frames cannot be worn.
- Photo must include face & top of shoulders.
- Children’s photos must not include toys or hands of people holding them.
- Head size must be between 31 to 36mm.
- In the case of babies the eyes need to be open
- Passport booth instant photos are not accepted.

- Background Requirements: white background
- Head size 60-70%.
- Brazilian Visa Photos must show the entire face.
- The Visa photo must show a front view of the face.
- Snapshots and computer pictures are not accepted as Brazilian Visa Photo.
